My Trades are Not Copying to Some Follower Accounts

If your trades are not copying to some follower accounts, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Trade Copier Settings

 

1. Verify the Trade Copier is Turned On
Ensure that the Trade Copier is activated. The button in the top-left corner of the ‘Accounts Dashboard’ window should display [ON] and be colored green.

2. Confirm Leader and Follower Accounts
Double-check the Duplicate Account Actions settings. The Master account (leader) should be highlighted in brown. The Follower accounts should be highlighted in gray.

3. Check Account Connections
Verify that all accounts (both leader and followers) are properly connected to NinjaTrader. The status indicators for these accounts should be green.

4. Review Instrument Settings
Ensure the ‘Accounts Dashboard’ window is not set to a specific instrument that differs from the one you are trading on the Master account. If trading multiple instruments, set the button to [All Instruments].

5. Workspace Activity
Confirm that the ‘Accounts Dashboard’ window is loaded in an active workspace. If it is in an inactive workspace, it will be disabled by default.

To prevent this:

Go to the ‘aiDuplicateAccountActions’ indicator settings.
Under the ‘Safety’ section, uncheck ‘Disable Inactive Workspace’.

Other Potential Issues

1. Position Size Too Big
If trades are still not copying, try lowering the number of contracts. Excessive position sizes may prevent successful trade copying.

By carefully checking these settings and adjustments, you can ensure smooth operation of your Trade Copier and resolve any issues with trade replication.
