The Commodity Channel Index (CCI) is an oscillating indicator used to determine market trends and possible exit and entry points. The CCI measures the correlation between a security and a selected moving average. The default NinjaTrader CCI is plotted on a chart with several different levels. These values are at the 200, 100, 0, -100 and -200 levels. These levels combined with the CCI line are used to find areas to enter or exit the market.
