What happens after you send a request

1. You describe the project in chat. Tell us what it should do, what kind of NinjaScript it is (indicator, strategy, drawing tool, Market Analyzer column or add-on), and which instrument and bar type you use. A screenshot or a marked-up chart helps a lot.
2. We pin down the rules. We ask the questions code needs answered: exactly when a signal counts, whether it waits for the bar to close, what happens at the end of the session, and how orders should behave.
3. You get a quote. Projects expected to take under 10 hours get a fixed quote; larger projects have a ±20% adjustment window.
4. Invoice and payment. Invoices are sent through PayPal. Smaller projects are paid in advance; larger ones can be paid in increments, with the balance due on completion. Invoices are non-refundable, so ask anything you are unsure about first.
5. Build, test and delivery. We write and test the code, you try it, and the source code is delivered once the project is paid in full. Bugs in our work are fixed under the one-year guarantee.

Writing a request that gets a fast, accurate quote

Describe the behaviour, not just the idea: "plot an arrow when the 9 EMA crosses the 21 EMA and the bar closes above both" can be quoted; "an indicator that finds good entries" cannot. Say whether you need alerts, sounds or automated orders, and whether it must run on NinjaTrader 8.0.28.0 as well as NinjaTrader 8.1.x.x. If you need confidentiality, we are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement you provide.

If your idea depends on something outside NinjaTrader, such as another program, a website or a separate data feed, say so early: what NinjaScript can reach decides what can be built. And if you already own one of our products, mention it; sometimes what you need is a setting or a small change to an existing tool rather than a new project, and we will tell you if so.
