How to Connect Winbance to NinjaTrader 8 (Rithmic)

Winbance issues Rithmic credentials, and the connection entry those credentials log into already ships with NinjaTrader Desktop. So the answer is yes — you can trade a Winbance account in NinjaTrader 8. Winbance is unusually direct about it, too: NinjaTrader is one of four platforms its checkout lists as included with every plan, and its help centre names NinjaTrader and Quantower as the main trading platforms it supports.
The data side is settled for you. Winbance’s checkout carries a single data-provider option — Rithmic, marked automatic — and the order summary repeats it as “Provider Rithmic”, so there is no second feed to choose by mistake. The credentials you will type into NinjaTrader are the Rithmic ones provided after your account is activated, not the email and password you use for the Winbance member area at dashboard.winbance.com. Confusing those two accounts for one another is the first thing that goes wrong.
The second is the System list inside NinjaTrader’s Rithmic connection. Do not expect to find an entry named Winbance in it. Our connection catalogue has Winbance on a shared Rithmic gateway rather than a gateway of its own, so you identify yourself by account stage rather than by firm name. Traders read that absence as proof the firm is not supported and give up two clicks from the finish. The related error is picking a System that does not match the stage of the account you hold, which fails in a way that looks identical to “my firm is not supported”.
One caveat before you start. Our catalogue records Winbance as reported rather than verified — the settings below reflect how this shared Rithmic gateway behaves generally, not a login we have tested on a Winbance account. Winbance also rebuilt its site in mid-2026 and publishes mainly in Spanish, so page names and wording move about. Check the names below against what Winbance actually issued you, and if the two disagree, ask Winbance rather than guessing.
What Winbance itself supports and issues
Winbance (winbance.com) is operated by WNB TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, a London company, and the product is futures: contract allowances are quoted in Mini and Micro contracts, the trading day is described in Central Time, and the terms reference NFA and CFTC rules. The plans — Challenge Edge and the instant-style Direct Pass — run roughly from 10K to 150K, with contract limits set per account size. Four platforms are listed as included with every plan.
- NinjaTrader — listed at checkout as included with every plan, and named in the help centre as one of the two main trading platforms Winbance supports. Both of those two are desktop-only.
- Quantower — the other of the two, also desktop-only.
- R|Trader Pro — Rithmic’s own front end, included as well. It is the quickest way to prove your credentials work, because it takes them directly with no NinjaTrader configuration in between.
- TradingView — offered through a third-party bridge, shown at checkout as billed by TradingThings rather than by Winbance.
- Rithmic, and only Rithmic — the data-provider box contains one provider, marked automatic, under a checkout note that reads “Connect through Rithmic at no extra cost.” The homepage has advertised Level 2 Rithmic data. There is no Tradovate or ProjectX option here, so there is nothing to choose between.
- Mobile — Winbance points mobile users at the Rithmic app, signing in with the Rithmic credentials provided after account activation.
What you need before you start
- Your Winbance Rithmic credentials — the user name and password provided once your account is activated. Check your welcome email or your member area. Not your Winbance dashboard login.
- Your Rithmic agreements completed — the market data agreements attached to that Rithmic login, including the professional / non-professional question, which is non-professional for almost every retail trader. Winbance’s own refund terms refer to the Rithmic user agreement being activated and approved, so treat this as part of the account going live rather than an optional extra. If you have not been sent them, ask Winbance where to complete them.
- NinjaTrader Desktop with Multi-Provider ticked — in Tools > Settings > General, followed by a full restart. Step 2 explains why.
- Knowing which stage your account is at — evaluation or funded. That one fact decides which System you pick in step 4.
Connecting Winbance to NinjaTrader
1. Complete the Rithmic agreements
Work through the market data agreements that come with your Winbance Rithmic login, and answer the professional / non-professional question honestly — non-professional for almost every retail trader. An agreement that is still pending tends to show up as a rejected login rather than a helpful message, so deal with it first and allow it time to clear. If you cannot see where to sign, ask Winbance.
2. Turn on Multi-Provider and restart
In Tools > Settings > General, tick Multi-Provider, then close NinjaTrader completely and reopen it. The restart is not optional: until NinjaTrader comes back up there is no Configure option in the Connections menu to click, and people lose real time hunting for a menu item that cannot be there yet.
3. Add the Rithmic connection
From the Control Center, open Connections > Configure. In the Available list, select the stock Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage entry that ships with NinjaTrader and add it. Give the connection a name you will recognise later — Winbance Eval, say — because that name is what you read in the Connections menu once you have more than one. Then enter the Rithmic user name and password Winbance issued you.
4. Choose the System that matches your account stage
This is the step that decides whether the rest works. An evaluation account logs into System Rithmic Paper Trading on the Chicago gateway. Winbance’s funded LiveX account is also simulated, and the only server Winbance names in its guides is Rithmic Paper Trading, Chicago. Nothing about a Winbance account name tells NinjaTrader which of these to use, which is why the wrong pairing is the most common Rithmic mistake of all — and why it presents exactly as a firm that appears not to be supported. Winbance’s own NinjaTrader guide uses the same connection at every stage, so ask Winbance before you change the System after you pass.
5. Connect and check
Close the dialog, open Connections and pick the name you gave it. Watch the Control Center status turn green, then open the Accounts tab and confirm your Winbance account is listed with the balance you expect. Load a chart on a contract your plan allows and check the data is moving. If the account appears but the data does not, that usually points back at the market data agreements rather than the connection.
Questions we get
There is no Winbance in the System list — have I done something wrong?
No. There is no entry named after Winbance, and you should not expect one: our catalogue has its accounts on a shared Rithmic gateway, so you select by account stage instead. On an evaluation, Rithmic Paper Trading is the right choice even though the wording looks wrong for an account you have paid for.
My login keeps being rejected
Check three things in order: that you are using the Rithmic credentials provided after activation rather than your member-area login, that your Rithmic agreements are approved rather than merely submitted, and that the System matches your account stage. Rithmic logon failed in NinjaTrader: causes and fixes goes through the rest. If all three look right, ask Winbance to confirm the user name and which stage your account is currently on.
NinjaTrader is included with my plan — what does that cover?
Winbance lists NinjaTrader among the platforms included with every plan, and its help center says all platform licenses, NinjaTrader included, come with your purchase at no extra fee. Accounts created before July 19, 2024 may need a license key, which Winbance supplies. It says nothing about connection limits. We cannot see what has been arranged on your behalf, so ask Winbance directly what the inclusion covers before assuming anything about licensing.
Can I run a Winbance account alongside another one?
NinjaTrader Desktop runs one Rithmic connection at a time, although one connection can carry several accounts under the same login. If you hold an evaluation and a funded account and want to work with both, Unlimited Prop Firm Connections lets you connect and manage multiple Rithmic accounts at the same time, from one window, with per-connection monitoring, and it tells you which System entry your firm uses, or adds that entry to NinjaTrader’s System list when it is missing. What you may run on a Winbance account is governed by Winbance’s own terms, so confirm with Winbance first.
Is there a Tradovate route?
Not at Winbance. The data provider is fixed to Rithmic at checkout with no alternative offered, and nothing across the site points to Tradovate, ProjectX or any other feed. If you have come from a firm where you chose between the two, there is no equivalent choice to make here.
