Does UProfit Trader Work With NinjaTrader?

No. A UProfit Trader account does not connect to NinjaTrader Desktop — not during an evaluation, and not on the funded stage UProfit calls Virtual Live.

The reason is straightforward: UProfit does not issue the kind of credentials NinjaTrader connects with. What you get is a single platform username and password pair, pulled from your own dashboard, and that pair is for TradingView and for Tradoverse, UProfit’s own platform. There is no Rithmic username, gateway or System entry in what the firm hands you — nothing that NinjaTrader’s connection dialog asks for.

That is not a knock on the firm. It is simply a different stack, and it is worth knowing before you buy rather than after.

What UProfit Trader actually runs on

  • TradingView — named on UProfit’s own platforms page and in the “Trade on trusted platforms” band on its homepage. Desktop and mobile.
  • Tradoverse — UProfit’s own platform, offered as a web app at web.tradoverse.com, as a separate desktop installer, and on mobile.
  • One credential pair for both — from your dashboard, open your subscriptions, select the account, click the key icon on that row and copy the credentials. Traders miss that key icon regularly; the credentials are not on a profile or settings page.
  • Two connection guides, and only two — “Connection Guide for Tradoverse® and Rollover” (updated 12 August 2026) and “Connection Guide for TradingView and Rollover” (updated 28 August 2026). Both are half rollover instruction, because rolling contracts is your job on either platform.
  • The same stack at both stages — nothing about the platforms changes when an evaluation passes and Virtual Live activates.
  • No feed choice at checkout — there is no platform or data-feed selector in the purchase flow. One account, one credential pair, two platforms.
  • Not named anywhere in UProfit’s own material — Rithmic, NinjaTrader, Quantower, Sierra Chart, MultiCharts or ATAS.

Why that does not reach NinjaTrader 8

NinjaTrader Desktop reaches a live futures account through the connection types in its Connections list — Rithmic, Tradovate and the rest. Each one expects credentials issued for that specific route: a username and password the firm created on that system. If what you hold is a login for a platform rather than credentials for one of those routes, there is no field to fill in and no connection to make. That is a plain fact about how NinjaTrader connects, not a fault on either side.

UProfit’s own material is consistent on this. Its platforms page names exactly two platforms, TradingView and Tradoverse. Across all 50 articles in its help centre, “Rithmic”, “NinjaTrader” and “Tradovate” appear zero times, while Tradoverse and TradingView appear throughout. And an older UProfit article whose setup steps once referenced Rithmic now returns a 404 — it has been removed.

To be clear about what the firm has and has not said: UProfit publishes no statement about NinjaTrader at all, in either direction. The answer above rests on what it does publish — its platforms page, the product data behind its live checkout, and its help centre.

Two things you may still come across. NinjaTrader’s Rithmic system list carries a UProfitTrader entry, left from a period when UProfit’s own instructions did reference Rithmic; since the firm no longer issues Rithmic credentials, there is nothing to enter alongside it. And some third-party comparison sites still list UProfit as NinjaTrader-compatible. Those pages are not maintained by UProfit, and they do not match what the firm’s own product data and help centre show today.

What you can do instead

If you are happy with the firm, trade it on what it provides. TradingView and Tradoverse both handle charting and order entry, and Tradoverse gives you a desktop install if that is what you are used to.

If NinjaTrader 8 is the part you are not willing to give up, the practical move is to choose a firm that issues credentials for a route NinjaTrader ships with, such as Rithmic or Tradovate. Our list of prop firms that work with NinjaTrader sets out which firms issue what, and how to set each one up.

If this changes

We checked UProfit’s platforms page, homepage, checkout and full help centre on 14 September 2026, and that is what they showed. A firm’s platform line-up can change at any time, so if you are deciding on this basis, ask UProfit support directly before you buy.
