Apex Trader Funding reaches NinjaTrader by two routes, and which one you use depends on the account you buy. Accounts issued on Rithmic need a connection entry adding in NinjaTrader; accounts on Tradovate connect natively with nothing extra installed.
The difference matters if you intend to run several funded accounts at once. NinjaTrader keeps only one Rithmic connection active at a time, so two Rithmic-based Apex Trader Funding accounts cannot both be live in one NinjaTrader instance out of the box — and Tradovate has never had it.
