Accessing User Manuals

You can read the user manuals online and view the latest release notes directly from the Members Area under the “User Manuals” tab.

This section includes:

• Step-by-step guides for using each product
• Detailed feature explanations
• Version history and release notes for recent updates

What you will find on the User Manuals page

Sign in, open the Members Area and choose User Manuals in the menu (the direct link is above). The page lists the manuals for the products on your account, and each product has its own User Manual and Release Notes.

• Read it online. The manuals open right in your browser, so you always see the version that matches the latest release. There is nothing to download or keep up to date yourself.
• Search. Use the search box at the top of a manual to jump straight to a setting or feature by name, then step through each match.
• Table of contents. Click any heading in the contents list to go straight to that section.
• What’s new is highlighted. Features added in recent releases are marked, so after an update you can see what changed without rereading the whole manual.
• Locked sections. Some products are sold in modules or bundles. Sections for a module you do not own are shown with a lock icon. Switch the view to show only what you own if you want a shorter manual.

Using the release notes

The release notes list every version of a product with its date, and what was added, improved or fixed in each one. They are the quickest way to answer “is this fixed in the newest version?” Compare the version you have installed in NinjaTrader with the newest version listed there and on the NinjaScript Downloads page. If yours is older, download the newest file and import it over the top; your settings and licensing carry forward. See where to find your latest downloads for the steps.

If a manual you expect is missing, check that you are signed in with the email address you used to buy the product, since the page only shows manuals for products on that account.
