How to Connect Earn2Trade to NinjaTrader (Rithmic)

Earn2Trade runs on Rithmic. The setup has one ordering requirement that causes most of the trouble: the exchange agreements have to be accepted before the connection will behave.

What you need before you start

• The Rithmic data feed credentials email Earn2Trade sends after purchase.
• The Rithmic exchange agreements accepted in the provider portal.
• NinjaTrader 8 Desktop on Windows.

Connecting Earn2Trade to NinjaTrader

Get your Rithmic credentials from Earn2Trade

After you purchase an evaluation you receive a verification email, and separately an email confirming your Rithmic data feed credentials have been created. Those Rithmic details are what NinjaTrader needs. Your Earn2Trade website login is not used by the platform at all.

Accept the exchange agreements

Log into the Rithmic portal and clear the agreements waiting there before you connect. Skipping this is the classic Earn2Trade setup mistake: the connection often opens anyway and then delivers delayed data or none, which reads as a data feed fault rather than an unsigned form.

Download the NinjaTrader Desktop platform

NinjaTrader 8 Desktop.

Enable Multi-Provider

Tools, Options, General, tick Multi-Provider, apply, restart.

Add the Rithmic connection

Control Center, Connections, Configure, add, then Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage.

Enter your credentials and choose the System

Type the Rithmic username and password rather than pasting, since a trailing space is the most common cause of rejection. Select the System entry matching your account stage, and confirm it against Earn2Trade’s help centre if you are unsure.

Select your new connection

Connections, then your Earn2Trade connection.

If it will not connect

Connected but showing delayed data or nothing at all is almost always the exchange agreements. Go back to the Rithmic portal before changing anything in NinjaTrader.

• Logon failed. Nearly always a trailing space copied with the credential, the wrong System entry for your account stage, or an agreement still unsigned in the provider portal. Worked through in Rithmic logon failed.
• Connected, but no accounts. Usually account status at Earn2Trade rather than anything in NinjaTrader. See no accounts were found.
• No Configure option. Multi-Provider is switched off. See why Configure is missing.
• Connects, then drops. Something else is holding a Rithmic session — R|Trader Pro elsewhere, a second machine, a VPS. See session count exceeded.

Can I run Earn2Trade next to another prop firm?

Not on the Rithmic route, not out of the box. NinjaTrader marks its Rithmic connections as one at a time, so connecting a second Rithmic firm displaces the first. NinjaTrader Desktop connects one Rithmic account at a time. Unlimited Prop Firm Connections lets you keep several connected at the same time.

A Rithmic session cap still applies per login on top of that, and no add-on can raise it.

Do I need a trade copier as well?

Only if you want one order to reach several accounts. Having the connections open at the same time is what makes copying possible; the copying itself is a separate job, handled by the trade copier.

Is the website login the same as the connection login?

No, and this is the most common setup mistake. NinjaTrader needs the Rithmic credentials Earn2Trade issued you, not the username and password you use on their website.
