How to Connect LeeLoo Trading to NinjaTrader (Rithmic)
LeeLoo Trading recommends NinjaTrader and routes it over Rithmic. The setup has one hard prerequisite that stops everything if you skip it, and it does not announce itself when you do.
What you need before you start
- The Rithmic documents signed. You will not connect to NinjaTrader, or any platform, until this is done.
- The R|Trader Pro credentials LeeLoo issued, with the SIM key for evaluation accounts.
- NinjaTrader 8 Desktop on Windows.
Connecting LeeLoo Trading to NinjaTrader
Sign the Rithmic documents first
Not a formality to come back to. Traders who skip it spend an afternoon rebuilding connections and re-typing passwords, because the failure never mentions a missing signature.
Get your credentials from LeeLoo and test R|Trader Pro
LeeLoo issues separate R|Trader Pro credentials, with a SIM key for evaluations. Install R|Trader Pro, sign in, and confirm it connects. Only once that works is there any point opening NinjaTrader.
Download the NinjaTrader Desktop platform
NinjaTrader 8 Desktop, which is the platform LeeLoo recommends.
Enable Multi-Provider
Tools, Options, General, tick, apply, restart.
Add the Rithmic connection
Control Center, Connections, Configure, add, then the Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage provider.
Enter your credentials and choose the System
Use the details LeeLoo provided, not your LeeLoo website login. Select the System entry for your account stage.
On plug-in mode, follow LeeLoo’s own instruction. It governs whether R|Trader Pro and NinjaTrader can run together, and it differs by firm — some require it on, others off, and advice borrowed from the wrong firm’s guide is a common cause of connections that come up and then drop.
Select your new connection
Connections, then My Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage.
If it will not connect
If nothing connects at all and the credentials are certainly right, go back and check the Rithmic documents are signed. That is the usual answer on this firm.
- Logon failed. Nearly always a trailing space copied with the credential, the wrong System entry for your account stage, or an agreement still unsigned in the provider portal. Worked through in Rithmic logon failed.
- Connected, but no accounts. Usually account status at LeeLoo Trading rather than anything in NinjaTrader. See no accounts were found.
- No Configure option. Multi-Provider is switched off. See why Configure is missing.
- Connects, then drops. Something else is holding a Rithmic session — R|Trader Pro elsewhere, a second machine, a VPS. See session count exceeded.

Can I run LeeLoo Trading next to another prop firm?
Not on the Rithmic route, not out of the box. NinjaTrader marks its Rithmic connections as one at a time, so connecting a second Rithmic firm displaces the first. NinjaTrader Desktop connects one Rithmic account at a time. Unlimited Prop Firm Connections lets you keep several connected at the same time.
A Rithmic session cap still applies per login on top of that, and no add-on can raise it.
Do I need a trade copier as well?
Only if you want one order to reach several accounts. Having the connections open at the same time is what makes copying possible; the copying itself is a separate job, handled by the trade copier.
Is the website login the same as the connection login?
No, and this is the most common setup mistake. NinjaTrader needs the Rithmic credentials LeeLoo Trading issued you, not the username and password you use on their website.
