EmergeProfit and NinjaTrader 8: Which Account Actually Connects

EmergeProfit sells its futures accounts as three parallel product families, and the family you buy decides the back end you will be logging into. The store lists “Test Futuros” evaluations alongside “Test Futuros Rithmic” and “Test Futuros TradingView”, with the same three-way split on the direct-pass side. The SKU is where that choice is made, and the firm publishes nothing about moving an account between futures products afterwards, so treat it as final.
Whatever you buy, the credentials arrive by email after purchase, together with what the firm calls an instructivo — a short set of instructions for connecting that particular account. The firm publishes no self-service dashboard page where you can look those details up again later, so keep the email. Timing hangs off it too: the firm states that your evaluation begins the day the credentials arrive, and that a funded (“live”) account issues a fresh set of credentials of its own.
Here is the part that trips people up, and it is worth reading twice. At EmergeProfit, “Rithmic” and “NinjaTrader” are the names of two different products, not two doors into the same one. The firm’s help centre, in both Spanish and English and last updated 24 July 2026, lists the futures combinations as “Tradovate with NinjaTrader or TradingView” and “Rithmic with Quantower or ATAS”. Nowhere on its site does the firm pair Rithmic with NinjaTrader.
So if NinjaTrader Desktop is the plan, the account to buy is a NinjaTrader/Tradovate one, and the connection you will make inside NinjaTrader is a Tradovate connection. Our own directory files EmergeProfit under Rithmic; that is reported directory data rather than anything verified with the firm, and EmergeProfit’s published pages do not corroborate a Rithmic route into NinjaTrader. Confirm with EmergeProfit which product you are buying, and what you may run on it, before you pay.
What EmergeProfit publishes
- Futures, per the help centre (24 July 2026): “Tradovate with NinjaTrader or TradingView / Rithmic with Quantower or ATAS”. That is the only page on the site that enumerates provider and platform together, and the only place Rithmic is named as something you select.
- Futures, per the firm’s own landing pages (September 2026): both the futures page and the direct-pass page state that in all futures direct passes you trade with the Tradovate and NinjaTrader platforms. Rithmic is not mentioned on either, nor on the public platforms page dated June 2026. The firm’s published lists do not agree with one another, which is why every line here carries its date.
- Rithmic products: real and purchasable in the store today — Micro, 25k, 50k and 100k evaluations, and direct passes from 5k to 150k. The 250k and FLEX direct passes are sold on the NinjaTrader, TradingView, cTrader and DXtrade side, not as Rithmic products. What the firm does not publish anywhere is a Rithmic setup document, a gateway or system name, or a username format.
- Three routes in: an evaluation; a direct pass, which skips the evaluation for a one-time payment; and the FLEX direct pass, where the firm says the first withdrawal comes after 10 days rather than 30. Drawdown style — end-of-day or static — is a toggle on the product page itself, so read the variant you are actually adding to the basket.
- Profit split: 80/20, scaling to 90/10 on sustained performance.
- Forex and CFDs (“EmergeFX”): DXtrade and cTrader through broker ThinkMarkets. That is a separate purchase, and the firm states a futures account cannot be switched to the FX side. No futures broker or clearing firm is named anywhere on the site.
What you need before you start
- The right product. If NinjaTrader Desktop is the goal, that means a NinjaTrader/Tradovate SKU rather than a Rithmic one. The choice is made at checkout and the firm publishes nothing about swapping between futures products afterwards.
- NinjaTrader Desktop installed and up to date on the machine you intend to trade from.
- The credential email and instructivo. The account name matters later — the firm’s own account-lookup widget expects a Tradovate account name and tells you to find it in the purchase email.
- Multi-Provider ticked, under Tools > Settings > General, followed by a restart of NinjaTrader.
- Your devices settled first. EmergeProfit limits you to two trusted devices, registered when the account is activated, and requires you to email support@emergeprofit.com in advance to add or change one. A trading VPS counts as a device, so clear it before you build your setup around it.
- A plan that fits the firm’s rules. The firm prohibits EAs outright and says it expects traders working from their own laptops or desktops; it also requires futures positions to be closed by the US session close, forbids hedging, polices abrupt size changes including switching between a mini and a micro, and sets minimum holding times. NinjaTrader 8’s automated strategies are very likely to be read the same way an EA is, so ask the firm before you arm one.
Connecting EmergeProfit to NinjaTrader
1. Turn on Multi-Provider, then restart
In the Control Center, go to Tools > Settings > General and tick Multi-Provider. Close NinjaTrader completely and start it again. A fresh install shows only NinjaTrader’s own connection until that switch is on and the platform has been restarted, which is also the usual reason people find nothing useful under Connections and conclude their install is broken. If Configure is still missing after the restart, see our guide to the missing Configure option.
2. Open Connections > Configure
From the Control Center, choose Connections > Configure. You will see a list of Available connection providers on the left and your configured connections on the right. Nothing you do here affects an existing connection until you save it, so it is safe to look around.
3. Add the entry called “NinjaTrader” — not the one called “Tradovate”
This is the step that costs people an evening. In the Available list there is a legacy entry labelled “Tradovate”, and there is a separate entry labelled “NinjaTrader”. Prop accounts on the Tradovate back end are carried by the entry named NinjaTrader. Pick the legacy Tradovate entry and your credentials will be rejected or the account list will come back empty, with nothing in the message to tell you why. Double-click the NinjaTrader entry to add it.
4. Enter your credentials and set Account Type to Simulation
Type the username and password exactly as the firm emailed them — copy and paste rather than retype, since a trailing space is invisible and fatal. Set Account Type to Simulation, which is the setting prop accounts on this route use, funded stage included. If your instructivo states something different for your stage, follow the instructivo — the firm’s own document for your account beats any general guidance, including ours.
5. Name the connection, connect, and check the account appeared
Give the connection a name you will recognise at a glance — the firm name and the account size is usually enough — then save and connect from Connections. Once the status shows connected, open the Accounts tab in the Control Center and confirm the account name there matches the one in your purchase email. If the connection succeeds but no account appears, that mismatch is what to investigate first, not your data settings.
Questions we get about EmergeProfit and NinjaTrader
I bought a Rithmic account. Can I use it in NinjaTrader 8?
We cannot tell you that from anything EmergeProfit publishes, and we would rather say so than guess. The firm’s only published statement about Rithmic pairs it with Quantower or ATAS, it names no gateway or system for its Rithmic accounts, and it issues no Rithmic setup document. Email support@emergeprofit.com with your order details and ask directly what your credentials are meant to be used with, and what you may run on your account.
Which name should I look for in Configure again?
NinjaTrader. It is genuinely confusing that the Available entry carrying Tradovate prop accounts is named after the platform rather than the provider, but that is how the list is written, and the legacy Tradovate entry is not the one you want.
Can I run this on a VPS?
Only after you have registered it. EmergeProfit allows two trusted devices and asks you to email support in advance before adding or changing one; a VPS is a device like any other. Traders who build a VPS setup first and ask later are the ones who end up locked out mid-evaluation.
Can I copy trades between accounts?
Ask EmergeProfit before you set anything up. Its FAQ answers this several ways: some answers say copy trading is not possible or not permitted, others allow it when the accounts belong to the same client, and the same page bans any system designed to replicate or distribute operations. Its store also sells copy-trading packs, and we are not going to resolve that contradiction on the firm’s behalf. Their terms govern your account, so get the answer from them in writing.
When does my evaluation clock start?
The day your credentials land in your inbox, per the firm. If you are not ready to trade — platform not installed, devices not registered — that time is still running, so get the setup done before you buy rather than after.
One note on Rithmic accounts in NinjaTrader
Separately from EmergeProfit and its products, one platform fact is worth knowing if you trade Rithmic accounts in NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader Desktop runs one Rithmic connection at a time, although one connection can carry several accounts under the same login. Our Unlimited Prop Firm Connections add-on lets you connect and manage multiple Rithmic accounts at the same time, from one window, with per-connection monitoring, and it tells you which System entry your firm uses, or adds that entry to NinjaTrader’s System list when it is missing.
