Does Purdia Capital Work With Rithmic? (No — It’s Tradovate)
No. Purdia Capital does not issue Rithmic credentials, and there is no System entry in NinjaTrader that will reach a Purdia account over Rithmic. Purdia routes through Tradovate. You can still trade a Purdia account in NinjaTrader 8 Desktop — that part works fine — but you get there on the Tradovate connection, and the thing that catches people out is that your Purdia dashboard sign-in and your platform login are two different accounts.
We checked this against Purdia’s own site rather than review blogs. Their platform FAQ answers the question of which platforms they support with “regulated brokerage connectivity through Tradovate/NinjaTrader”, and the word Rithmic does not appear anywhere on purdia.com. If you have read on a comparison site that Purdia run both feeds, that is wrong.
What you need before you start
- Your Purdia onboarding email. Purdia say your platform access steps arrive there — that is what you connect with, not the dashboard login you use at pro.purdia.com.
- NinjaTrader 8 Desktop on Windows. The web platform will not do this.
- The market-data agreement signed in the Tradovate web app. Sign it there first; NinjaTrader cannot present it to you.
- Your account stage clear in your own mind. Purdia move qualified traders out of simulated funding into live brokerage accounts, so check your onboarding email for anything specific to the stage you are at.
Connecting Purdia Capital to NinjaTrader
Get your Tradovate credentials
They come with onboarding, not from the dashboard. Purdia are explicit that your platform sign-in and your Purdia dashboard may be entirely separate systems, each with its own password reset and two-factor recovery. If you are typing your Purdia website password into NinjaTrader, that is the whole problem, and no amount of reconfiguring the connection will fix it.
Sign the market-data agreement in Tradovate
Log in to the Tradovate web app with those credentials and clear the market-data agreement there. Do this before you touch NinjaTrader. Unsigned agreements do not produce an error message in NinjaTrader — they produce empty charts, which people then misread as a broken install.
Enable Multi-Provider
Tools, then Settings, then General. Tick Multi-Provider, apply, and restart NinjaTrader. Without it, Configure does not appear in the Connections menu at all.
Add the Tradovate connection
Control Center, Connections, Configure. In the Available list, double-click NinjaTrader — that is the connection type that carries Tradovate prop accounts, not the entry labelled Tradovate, which is the older one. Rename it Purdia so you can tell it apart if you run other firms alongside it.
Enter your credentials and set the Account Type
Type the username and password rather than pasting them. A trailing space picked up with a copy is one of the most common causes of a failed logon, and the field gives you no clue it is there.
Set Account Type to Simulation. That is correct for an evaluation and for a funded Purdia account alike, even though the payouts are real — Live is for a retail Tradovate brokerage account you opened yourself. If your onboarding email says something specific for the stage you are at, follow it, and ask Purdia rather than guessing, because the wrong choice connects to nothing and looks exactly like a credential fault.

If it will not connect
- Logon failed. Almost always the Purdia website password rather than the platform password, or a trailing space from pasting. Reset the platform login through its own recovery flow, which Purdia note is separate from the dashboard’s.
- No Configure option. Multi-Provider is switched off. See why Configure is missing.
- Connected, but no accounts. Usually your account stage at Purdia rather than anything in NinjaTrader. See no accounts were found.
- Charts blank or quotes frozen. Market-data agreement unsigned, or the wrong contract month selected. Purdia’s own troubleshooting points at the data tier and the front month first. See connected but no data.
- SuperDOM empty though charts work. Order-flow entitlement is a separate thing from market data. Raise it with Purdia; it is not a NinjaTrader setting.
- You are hunting for a Rithmic System entry. There is not one. Nothing under Rithmic reaches Purdia, and trying the Rithmic route is time you will not get back.

Does Purdia Capital work with Rithmic?
No. Purdia is a Tradovate firm. R|Trader Pro, plug-in mode, Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago) and every other Rithmic instruction you may have followed for a different firm is irrelevant here. Can I run Purdia next to another prop firm?
Yes, and on this route you do not need anything extra. NinjaTrader’s one-connection-at-a-time restriction applies to Rithmic, not to Tradovate, so a Purdia connection will sit alongside other Tradovate firms without an add-on. If what you actually want is a single order reaching several accounts at once, that is a separate job, handled by a trade copier.
Is my Purdia login the same as my NinjaTrader login?
No, and Purdia say as much in their own FAQ: the platform login and the Purdia dashboard can be separate systems, each with its own reset. This is the single most common reason a Purdia trader cannot get connected, and it is worth ruling out before you change anything else.
